2017 Summer: Through Clear Glass
Location as a malleable physical memory inside an individual rather than a static opaque reference point. The works are intended to reveal alternate fictional locations of the Bay Area inside my personal memory of the Bay Area.

2016 Fall: Fan Fiction
Depictions of real life miniature doll house scale interiors, that I have designed and constructed myself. They may appear as works featuring figures set in specific environments, but are in fact, still life’s. Each interior is in essence, a miniature film set arranged to create a scene and contains a narrative where, the body of the work unfolds a notion of a storyline without explicitly depicting a singular story.

2014 Fall: Tables and Windows
A revisiting of the interior scene setting often used in traditional genre paintings. The core elements of tables, windows, and the walls act as the control point to the genre. I was interested in exploring how close or far a recognizable depiction of one of these elements affected the space and initial viewers association with the genre.

The idea of content as a fleeting moment of recognition in the sense of place in an objective manner. A moment in which we stop, for a moment, seeing our current self in relation to our past self and our future self.
